Sometimes it can feel as though our homes are bursting at the seams, especially with kids running around! It can be easy to accumulate things, and hard to be able to store them in a clean and tidy manner. We have a few quick and easy tricks below to help you sort out some of that clutter!

Wall Storage

Depending on how many people you live with, shoes can take up a lot of space. While normal shoe storage racks can be quite effective, they takes up a lot of floor space and tends to be messy.  Not to mention in the wintertime when we have our hats, scarves and gloves. A great way solution is to build a wall storage bin. You can also add shelves and hooks for backpacks and shoes. In your garage, you can install Slatwall. It’s an interchangeable, wall mounted organization product with interchangeable accessories. We have many options and colors on our website: http://bit.ly/1lyzX18 There’s many different all storage options. Make sure to assess all your needs before spending any money. This way, you don’t waste a dime and ensure you’re getting exactly what you need.

Kitchen Storage

Use a curtain rod under the sink to hang spray bottles. It will give you much easier access and keep the space cleaner. For cleaning tools like sponges and cloth’s purchase a pocket organizer. Much like a shoe rack, this hangs on the inside of the cabinet door and comes in plastic. You can hang sponges, rubber gloves and anything you feel is in the way.  A great storage solution for cooking utensils like spatulas and spoons is a corkboard placed inside your cabinet. Make sure to place the corkboard evenly. Magnetic knife racks are also great to store knives. They make it super easy for you to find your knives when you are cooking.

Bathroom Storage

Small items like nail clippers, bobby pins, hair trimmers, files and more tend to keep the bathroom messy. A great storage solution is to use a magnetic knife rack. Like the one we mentioned in the kitchen storage section. They have high quality magnetic knife racks at Ikea for under 10$. Anything in your bathroom that is magnetic can be hung there. It’s actually a lot more items then you think! If you don’t have any room for hair products and lotions, then use a spice rack. One that you can hang is obviously best. We want to avoid taking up any space on the countertops. Wracks or hooks behind the door are also great to hang towels to clothing.
